Man Hee Lee Quotes, To Achieve World Peace

Man Hee Lee Quotes
To Achieve World Peace

HWPL Chairman, Man Hee Lee Peace Quotes

Family members of the global village and distinguished guests who are here with us today,
what we need to accomplish today is to bring the wars on earth to an end,
achieve world peace, and leave it as a legacy to future generations.

Neither politicians nor the laws of our world have been able
to offer compensation to those who lost their lives in this way.

All current heads of state, those who love their country,
their people, and peace, should then sign this international law.

People live by the light, rain, and air provided by heaven.
Having received this grace of life, they then kill one another
in wars, instead of loving and protecting each other.

When religions, which have all become corrupt, offer themselves
to the true God and unite under the Creator, then the conflicts between
these religions will be resolved, and world peace will be achieved.

There is nothing greater or of greater value in than peace work.
This work will be a glory remembered forever
in the history of mankind.

Peace does not belong to any single individual.
It belongs to us all.

Let us unite and become messengers of
peace—those who actually achieve peace.

※ In 2015, the HWPL International Peace Committee was established with law experts in world, with the goal of achievement of world peace through the international law for peace.

Mr. Al-Hajj Murad Ebrahim, Chairman of the MILF, said at the HWPL Peace Summit,

“We too in the Bangsamoro in Mindanao in the Southern Philippines share this vision of achieving peace and justice. Last March 27, 2014, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) signed the historic Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB) with the government of the Philippines to end the more than four decades of war and conflict in the Bangsamoro Homeland. This peace agreement, our modest contribution to World Peace is a product of eighteen years of hard and persistent negotiation. The peace advocacy of HWPL led by Chairman Man Hee Lee in Mindanao, Philippines particularly in the cities of General Santos, Zamboangga, Cagayan de Oro and Buluan, Maguindanao contributed greatly towards the promotion of peace in our country. HWPL Chairman, Man Hee Lee’s visit sends a very strong message to our people that we are not alone in our search for genuine and lasting peace.”

The 1st HWPL Media Forum in SA

The first HWPL
Media Forum in SA

<The Role of the Media in peace building in collaboration with SABC TV Religion>

Johannesburg, South Africa – On August 17, over 30 journalists, commissioning editors and news analysts gathered to share their views and ideas to understand their role in peace building. Under the theme of ‘The Role of the Media in peace building’, this was the very first Heavenly Culture, World Peace, and Restoration of Light (HWPL) Media Forum on African soil which was held in collaboration with the national broadcaster, South African Broadcast Commission (SABC), more specifically SABC TV Religion.

With the example of fellow news broadcasters from across the globe who have undertaken the role of HWPL publicity ambassadors, the media representatives from both print and broadcast engaged in dialogue with one goal – reporting the work of peace accurately. Guest speakers included the Head of SABC TV Religion Ms. Yashika Sigh, news analyst Mr. Zanele Mashinini, and producer from iTV Ms. Aadila Amod who were joined by members of the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG).

During the course of this year, social hostility concerning religion increased significantly with terrorist groups such as misrepresented religious groups, causing a great concern for the protection of youth and women. Having joined Chairman of HWPL Mr. Man Hee Lee’s peace movement since the World Alliance of Religions’ Peace (WARP) Summit in 2014, Ms. Yashika Singh said, “I enjoyed the opportunity to engage with different media, both print and broadcast.

It is interesting to meet people that think the way that we do, that want to promote peace, to promote human values. I think it is not always easy to find those kind of journalists…” and added, “[Chairman Lee] has challenged people to start thinking differently and this is the first step to opening up dialogue.”

Following the speeches, participants listened to the HWPL representative who shared Mr. Lee’s message to the press and media of the world. This message powerfully stated that “The souls of the youth that have been sacrificed in wars are pleading. All creation is groaning,” and appealed, “Let us become messengers of peace, achieve world peace and the cessation of wars, and leave it as a legacy for future generations.”

Mr. Zanele Mashinini appointed
as HWPL Publicity Ambassador
On the day, Mr. Zanele Mashinini and Ms. Aadila Amod were appointed as HWPL Publicity Ambassadors. He expressed that peace is very important and said that, “What the Chairman is doing for Africa, and the world, is a priceless gift. We need to get the world calm and achieve harmony and live in peace. If God has given us an individual who is taking this mammoth task, it’s not going to be easy. We know brokering peace is not easy.”

After declaring the Declaration of World Peace in Seoul, South Korea on May 25, 2013, Mr. Man Hee Lee, together with the Chairwoman of International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) have been working fervently towards the enactment of drafting an article on convention on renunciation and cessation of war and international armed conflicts as well as the unity of religion. Transcending boundaries, races, and religions, these two peace activists are changing the course of history as they gather leaders and media around the globe for these two purposes.

The first HWPL Media Forum in SA in collaboration with SABC TV Religion is the first of many. It is expected to have a positive effect on peace building in South Africa, the African Continent as well as the entire world.

HWPL WARP Summit 2nd

HWPL WARP Summit
Second Annual Commemoration of
 World Alliance of Religions’ Peace

WARP Summit by HWPL Site☞ http://warpsummit2014.org/

Second Annual Commemoration of World Alliance of Religions’ Peace (WARP) Summit will be taking place from 17th -19th September in Seoul, South Korea.

The Summit aims to discuss how the global society could possibly spread “the Culture of Peace”, emphasized in Article 10 of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War(DPCW) that was proclaimed in March 2016. (More detail☞  http://peacelaw.org/site/declaration)

Over 2000 prominent figures including politicians, top level religious leaders, prominent law experts, women and youth leaders and major media journalists will be gathered, and this will be witnessed by 200,000 people at the very place.

Especially, Ministry of Education, Minister of Home Affairs and Ministry of Justice of Sri Lanka are expected to participate this summit as the ones who have shown their support on HWPL by writing supporting document.

On 14th March, when DPCW was proclaimed, Wijeyadasa Rajapakse, the Minister of Justice in Sri Lanka, delivered a congratulatory speech, saying “Sri Lanka had a serious war which got just ended 16 years ago, due to differences of Race, Language, Religion, Geopolitical reasons etc.

WARP Summit is remarkable since the two main initiatives of HWPL were announced and after all, have been actively cooperated and supported by International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) and International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG), who are potential war-sufferers. Ever since DPCW was proclaimed, they have raised their voices for an enforceable form of an international law to end any kinds of conflicts in forms of active pledge-signing campaigns, which later on served as a proof of desire shown to the heads of state, international organizations, and the global society. Up until now, 190,000 supporting signatures have been gathered.

[HWPL International law] IPYG, Peace Effort in Zimbabwe

IPYG, Peace Effort in Zimbabwe

The 3rd Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace at the Harare Gardens

The seeds of peace start to grow in Zimbabwe

Harare, Zimbabwe – On the 4th of June 2016, IPYG, the International Peace Youth Group alongside numerous youth groups and educational institutions hosted the 3rd Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace at the Harare Gardens.

Showing their commitment for peace, youth from the Female Student Network, Global Youth Foundation, and Centre for Peace and United Theological College all came together to help promote global peace advocacy through the Legislate Peace Campaign.

The campaign was recently launched to bring all wars to an end by establishing an enforceable law compatible with the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW).

The speakers include Mr. Claris Maduku, Director of The Platform for Youth Development Trust (PYD), Ms. Chido Mpemba, regional representative of Peace is Possible and Dr. Mohsen Shojakhani, the Cultural Counsellor of the Cultural Center of The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Drafted by the HWPL International Law Peace Committee and proclaimed on March 14th this year the DPCW has steadily received the public’s attention.

It represents the voices of all those who yearn for peace and urges States to protect their citizen’s rights to enjoy peaceful lives.

The “Legislate Peace” Campaign calls on global citizens to unite as one to speak out their positive demands for peace by adding their signatures.

World leaders and governments are also being called on to make and enforce a national law based on the principles of the DPCW.

Around 500,000 signatures were collected through on and offline peace law platforms worldwide, in approximately three months.

Marking the 3rd anniversary of its proclamation, the Declaration of World Peace has seen its fruit through the DPCW.

The Declaration of World Peace Officially proclaimed at 5.25 Peace Walk at the Peace Gate, the Declaration of World Peace is HWPL’s vision for sustainable peace.

We call on the heads of state of every country to sign an international agreement – a commitment to bringing all wars to an end.

We ask them to do this from a spirit of deep-stead love for the people of their country.

The document of Declaration states: “Of what use is a young life, born in our day and age, if it is thrown away in this manner – thrown away without having had a chance to bloom? What price can compensate for the loss of a life? … In whatever way you can, we ask that you work to further the cause of world peace and restoration, making it a reality in your direct environments.”

South Africa hosts Religious Dialogue amidst Terrorist Attack Warning

Dialogue of Scriptures World Alliance of Religions’ Peace Office  - Port Elizabeth, South Africa -

Port Elizabeth, South Africa – To go against the terrorist attacks happening globally during the month of Ramadan, a group of religious leaders gathered at the Church of the Latter Day Saints for a peace dialogue.

On June 9th, 2016 Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) hosted the World Alliance of Religions’ Peace (WARP) Office event with the purpose to bring harmony and seek common ground among all religions, through understanding creed of each religion.

The movement began as a continuation of the Alliance of Religions agreement signed at the World Alliance of Religions’ Peace (WARP) Summit on September 2014 in South Korea.

After returning to their home countries, over 700 religious leaders from across the globe who participated in the Summit have been actively carrying out the promise they made at the Summit by voluntarily establishing and hosting the WARP Office event in their communities with HWPL regional branches.

[HWPL WARP] Dialogue of Scriptures
PANEL SPEAKER: Giving a speech
For the community in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, the topic for the month was “Does your scripture record the work God has done on the Earth?” Speakers included kessavan Padayachy (Hindu representative), Nicky van Lavieren (Hare Krishna), Sinethemba Neku (Mormon), Placide Ebongue (Baha’i faith).

Q. How is your experience at the WARP Office thus far?

“I am always amazed when each of the religious leaders gives their talks on how similar the different religions are. I really enjoy it and today was exceptionally good. I believe that the word of God is love and peace, so if we study the scriptures of one another so if we study the scriptures of one another and find love and peace in each other’s scripture, then we would be making a very big contribution to world peace.”-Kessavan Padayachy (Hindu representative)

Q. What are your views on wars that are caused by religious conflicts?

“If we sit and learn together in scripture we will be able to understand each other and have world peace. A lot of wars start because of religion. Understanding each other as religious leaders is the solution to problem.”-Sinethemba Neku (Mormon representative)

“I think media has conditioned the observer. Religious people are not aggressive. Religion is there to develop your spiritual qualities. People use religions for their own benefit. We need to really see our spiritual call because we are all equal, we are all one.”- Nicky van Lavieren (Hare Krishna representative)

Up to date, HWPL has established 166 WARP Offices in 81 countries.

Since 80% of wars in the world are religiously motivated, it is safe to say that this movement is a practical way of achieving peace.

On March 2016, Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL presented the articles of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War which was created by worldly renowned international law experts who signify that peace is possible yet urgent. (Ref to http://peacelaw.org/)

The Declaration continues to develop as the most widely accepted and cited document to ensure international security and worldwide enjoyment of peace.

Some of the core elements include prohibition of: the threat or use of force; obtaining war potential and freedom of religion.

[Man Hee Lee Quotes] The Greatest Peace Work

<HWPL, Man Hee Lee Peace Quotes>
The Greatest Peace Work

There is nothing greater or of greater value in than peace work.

This work will be a glory remembered forever
in the history of mankind.

Peace does not belong to any single individual.

It belongs to us all.

Let us unite and become messengers of peace—those who actually achieve peace.

We are all born into the same world, but young people and students are forced out into battlefields, where their lives are sacrificed, without ever having the chance to mature and enjoy the prime of their youth. Neither politicians nor the laws of our world have been able to offer compensation to those who lost their lives in this way.

The true God does not create conflicts that kill people.

Family members of the global village and distinguished guests who are here with us today, what we need to accomplish today is to bring the wars on earth to an end, achieve world peace, and leave it as a legacy to future generations.
